The program emphasizes learning, fun, and safety. The students spend as much time as possible on the water. Time ashore is spent learning seamanship, nautical terminology, rules of the sea, boat maintenance, weather, and navigation. Young sailors build self-confidence by mastering the sport of sailing. More advanced sailors learn to race.
There are 4 two-week sessions, starting on Monday, June 22, and running through Friday, August 14.
