​To register:

Complete the Registration Form.

Download, review, and sign the Rules and Consent Forms.

Once signed, scan and upload them.
-
Your child’s spot will not be held until the forms are returned.

Download and complete the Medical Form.​

Bring the completed medical forms on the first day of camp.

Swim test
Sailors will be required to pass a swim test on the first day of the session. It consists of:

Swim 25 yards unassisted and without rest
-
Tread water for 30 seconds
-
Jump in the water, float on their back for 10 seconds, swim to the dock, and get out of the water.
If your child can not pass the swim test, they may not participate in the program.
Registration fees are not refundable.
Please verify that your child can pass this test.

Equipment
​Parents are responsible for providing their children with the proper personal equipment necessary for sailing activities. Use a permanent marker to mark your child’s gear with their name.

US Coast Guard-approved Life Vest
-
Must be properly fitted to an individual’s size and weight.
-
Must be in good working order.
-
A whistle on a lanyard must be attached to the PFD.

Appropriate shoes
-
They may be boat shoes, dinghy boots, water shoes, or regular sneakers that can get wet.
-
They must cover the toes and encircle the feet.
-
They should not have black soles.
-
Open-toe shoes or flip-flops are not appropriate.

Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)
-
Reusable water bottle
-
Towel and a change of clothes
-
If your child wears glasses, eyeglass straps are required
-
For full-day program participants, provide lunch in a container labeled with your child’s name.​​
